Dover Police investigating reported shots fired near apartment complex

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say they are investigating after receiving a report of shots fired at the entrance to Manchester Square late Monday night.

According to police, at around 11:45 p.m., a 36-year-old male was leaving the community and was turning onto White Oak Road when a black SUV pulled in front of him. A male passenger in the SUV then reportedly began firing several shots in his direction. The victim then fled, but the suspect vehicle followed him and continued to fire rounds in his direction.

We’re told the victim was not injured in the incident.
