Dover Police investigating burglary at local Subway restaurant

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating an early morning burglary at the Subway restaurant at 991 Forest Street in Dover.

Police say the incident happened just before 5 a.m., when a suspect reportedly entered the business through an unlocked window. The suspect then took an unknown amount of cash from a safe before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is believed to be a male, approximately 5’8″ to 5’10”, 180 to 200 pounds, and was wearing a grey flannel shirt/jacket, black pants, and black sneakers.
