Del. State Police investigating early morning home invasion in Seaford
SEAFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a home invasion that happened early Tuesday morning in Seaford.
According to police, the incident happened at around 2 a.m., at a residence in the 8700 block of Garden Lane. On arrival, police discovered that the entire residence had been ransacked, and that three suspects had entered armed with handguns.
At the time of the incident, four residents were inside the home, ranging from 10 to 59 years old. One of the victims, a 36-year-old male, was assaulted by one of the suspects and sustained minor injuries as a result. The other three residents were not injured.
The suspects were described as males, ranging from 5’6″ to 6’0″ in height, and were wearing dark closing and face masks. They reportedly stole an unknown amount of cash, two handguns, a surveillance system, and a house pet before fleeing the scene.
