Celebrating Mother’s Day on Delmarva
SALISBURY, Md. – Families across the world on Sunday celebrated Mother’s Day with all sorts of traditions.
Some moms in Salisbury said they got special treats like lunch dates with their kids, new clothes and even hand-crafted items.
47ABC caught up with one mom at the Irish Penny Pub & Grill in Salisbury who said she got a little extra love from her three adopted sons.
She said for her Mother’s Day signifies a time for families to get together and be grateful for one other.
“I’m very fortunate to have my mother in my life, and she’s been a wonderful example,” said Bonnie Nay, a Salisbury resident.
“They live across the bridge so I don’t get to see them as much as I would like, but just being grateful,” said Nay.
