Cambridge Police Department investigating homicide
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Police in Cambridge are currently investigating a homicide that took place shortly after midnight on Wednesday, May 1st.
According to Captain Justin Todd of the Cambridge Police Department officers were called to 610 Pine Street at 12:37 A.M. for a reported disturbance. When they arrived on the scene they found an unconscious male and began life saving measures that were ultimately unsuccessful. The man was pronounced dead on the scene, however the exact cause of death is unknown at this time.
The identification of the man is being withheld, pending notification of family members, and the body has been turned over to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore.
Captain Todd says that there are no known suspects at this time, but that police are currently conducting interviews with people who were in the area at the time of the incident.
