Body found at bank in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Police in Delaware are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at a bank during the morning hours of May 13th.

According to the Dover Police Department the body of a known homeless man in his late fifties was discovered at the Wilmington Savings and Fund Society (WSFS) bank located at 290 S. DuPont Highway in Dover at about 7:45 A.M.

Corporal Mark Hoffman tells 47 ABC that no foul play is suspected and that death investigations are always launched anytime a body has been discovered. The cause of death is unknown at this time, however the Delaware Division of Forensic Science will be performing an autopsy to determine the manner in which the man died.
