Warrington’s big night on mound leads Sussex Tech over Milford

GEORGETOWN, Del.- Behind an 11 strikeout performance from Matt Warrington, Sussex Tech cruised past Milford 4-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Handing Milford their first loss of the season, Warrington went the full distance, allowing just three hits and no runs.

At the plate, Sussex Tech scored all their runs in the bottom of the first inning. Ethan Ward got the runs going with an RBI single, followed by a Jalen Snead two RBI knock. Tyler Heder would later bring Snead around to score on an RBI single to make it 4-0.

With the win, Tech moves to 5-1 and into a tie of first place in the Henlopen North with Dover.

For Milford, they drop to 6-1, tying them atop the Henlopen South with Delmar.
