Sussex Co. pavement project to result in overnight lane closures this summer
SUSSEX CO., Del. – The Delaware Department of Transportation says a portion of Route 113 in Sussex County will be reduced to one lane during the overnight hours this summer.
Officials say the contractor will be milling, patching, paving, and striping Route 113 Northbound and Southbound from Gordy Road to Robbins Road, north of Georgetown.
Closures are scheduled to begin on May 6th, and will run from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday evening through Friday morning, weather dependent. Motorists should be on alert for construction personnel and equipment, and should anticipate lane shifts.
We’re told the project is expected to wrap up in early September.
