Sussex Co. animal hospital helping displaced pets after tornado

LAUREL, Del. – A Sussex County animal hospital is doing all it can to help locals impacted by Monday’s EF-2 Tornado.

The Eastern Shore Veterinary Hospital posted on Facebook, on Monday, saying “If anyone has been displaced from their home due to destruction from the tornado and need a safe place for your pets we have room and would like to help!”

The post gained a lot of traction online with more than 1-thousand shares. People commented on the post saying things like, “Wow very generous of you folks. So nice to have caring people around our state. Thank you.”
