Shorebirds fall to GreenJackets

ARTHUR W. PERDUE STADIUM, Md. – The Shorebirds wrapped up their weekend series with the Augusta GreenJackets Sunday afternoon, falling 3-0.

Delmarva tallied just four hits on the day, two coming from Daniel Fajardo.

Shorebirds starting pitcher Nick Vespi had a strong outing, throwing five full innings while allowing just one run off one hit and seven strikeouts.

Delmarva now hits the road for a three game series against Columbia beginning Tuesday night.
