Salisbury women’s lacrosse coasts to CAC title game with win over CNU

SALISBURY, Md.- With a 22-11 win over Christopher Newport on Tuesday, the Salisbury University women’s lacrosse team moved onto another Capital Athletic Conference championship game.

The Gulls, who have won 16 straight CAC titles, will go for their 17th in a row when they host York (PA) on Saturday.

Against CNU on Tuesday, Courtney Fegan and Alexis Strobel led the way offensively, as Fegan tallied a team-high six goals and Strobel added three goals and five assists for a team-high eight points. Along with that stat line, Strobel surpassed 100 points for her career.
