POLICE: Investigation into sales of crack cocaine in Easton leads to arrest

EASTON, Md. – An investigation into the illegal sales of crack cocaine in Easton resulted in the arrest of 35-year-old Tyron Green.
During the month of April 2019, Detectives with the Easton Police Department’s Narcotics Unit began an investigation into the illegal sales of crack cocaine within the Town of Easton, particularly in the area of the Econo Lodge located on Ocean Gateway in Easton.
Police say the target of the investigation, 35-year-old Tyron Green of Easton, was reported to be residing at the Econo Lodge.
On April 18th, Detectives executed Search and Seizure Warrants on the person of Tyron Green (who was located on the 100 block of
Blake Street) as well as Room 222 of the Econo Lodge.
Police say as a result of the warrants, Detectives seized a quantity of crack cocaine in an amount indicative of an intention to distribute. Also seized was a digital scale with cocaine residue, a glass vile containing suspected THC wax, a cellular phone, and $860.00 in suspected drug proceeds.
Green was arrested and charged with one count of CDS Possession with the Intent to Distribute – Narcotic, and two counts of CDS Possession Not Marijuana.
Green was transported to Central Booking, and later taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center on no bond.
The Easton Police Narcotics Unit was assisted by the EPD Criminal Investigations Unit, EPD Bike Patrol Unit, EPD Patrol Division, and the Talbot County Narcotics Task Force.
