Local photographer offering free headshots for Perdue employees who lost jobs

SNOW HILL, Md. – A local photographer is stepping up to help her community after more than 40 Perdue Farms employees lost their jobs in Salisbury.

Erin Freeman, owner of Treasure It Photography, says she’s looking to help any of those employees who were laid off by offering them a free professional photo shoot. Freeman tells us her stepfather was one of the employees who lost their job, and she couldn’t stand by any longer.

To help get them back on their feet Freeman tells 47 ABC, she’ll be taking professional headshots for people to use, to help them find another job.

She says it’s the least that she could do, “I thought that it was important to step up and help our community. People having jobs are great for all of us, small business owners the more people who have jobs, the better to keep our economy going.”
