Gun storage bill goes back to Del. Senate
DOVER, Del. – Delaware House Bill 63, which passed the House back in March, would require gun owners to safely store firearms.
The goal is ensure firearms are out of reach to children and those who are mentally ill.
It’s a piece of legislation that has also received the Senate’s stamp of approval, but an amended one which means it has to go back to the House of yet another vote.
The Senate passed it but only after providing more protections for lawful gun owners, by putting the burden of proof on the state, not the gun owner.
