Dover Police searching for six suspects in connection to strong armed robbery

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say they are looking for six suspects who reportedly robbed a 31-year-old male Sunday afternoon.

Police say at around 1:45 p.m., the victim was walking in the area of S. Queen Street and West Reed Street when he was approached by a female who asked him for a small amount of money. When the victim pulled out his wallet, five male suspects reportedly began assaulting the victim and stole his wallet before fleeing the area with an unknown amount of cash.

We’re told the victim refused medical treatment at the scene. No description was provided for the male suspects, but the victim told police that the female suspect was wearing red pants and a white shirt with black stripes.
