Correctional Officers Association of Delaware passes new deal

DELAWARE- On Tuesday, the Correctional Officers Association of Delaware (COAD) passed their new collective bargaining agreement with the state.

COAD voted to ratify the four year agreement, with most in favor of the new deal. We’re told that some of the major takeaways is that under the new agreement, there will be significant raises for correctional officers, along with better incentives for promotions.

The new deal is scheduled to take effect on July 1, 2019.
