City of Pocomoke announces results of District 1 City Council election

POCOMOKE, Md. – Pocomoke City officials have announced that R. Scott Holland has won the District 1 seat, beating out current District 1 representative George Tasker.

According to the Board of Elections supervisors, R. Scott Holland received 97 votes, William Sparrow received 31, and George Tasker received 9.

Holland is scheduled to take the District 1 seat on Tuesday, April 9th.
