Cape dominates Smyrna, stays undefeated in Delaware

LEWES, Del.- Coming off their biggest week of the regular season, the Cape Henlopen boys lacrosse team didn’t miss a step on Wednesday night, dominating Smyrna with an 18-1 win.

Eight different Vikings got in the scoring column, being led by Greg Boyce with five and Hank D’Ambrogi with four. Following them were Michael Frederick, Luke D’Ambrogi, and Jack Dennis with two goals, along with Blake Gipko, Landon Best and Finbar Rishko netting one apiece.

For Smyrna, senior goalie Matt Miller had another strong game, facing 46 shots and coming out with 15 saves. Cullen Porter was the lone goal scorer for the Eagles.

The Vikings remain undefeated in the state of Delaware, with their only loss of the season coming against Bullis (MD). They return to action on Thursday, April 25th against Ocean City (NJ).

For Smyrna, they look to bounce back against Lake Forest on Friday at 11am.
