BREAKING: Police on scene of shooting in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Georgetown Police are currently on scene of a shooting that happened in the area of County Seat Apartments, west of Delaware Technical Community College.

We’re told that one patient has been transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot, which is believed to be non-life threatening.

Officials say the scene has been deemed safe and the investigation is ongoing.
