UPDATE: Deputies identify suspect in fatal Parsonsburg crash

3/20 UPDATE: The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says that they have identified the victim in the fiery fatal crash in Parsonsburg Sunday night.

PARSONSBURG, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says they are asking for the public’s help identifying the owner or person driving the vehicle involved in a fatal crash late Sunday night.

Deputies were called to 7570 Esham Road in Parsonsburg shortly before midnight, in reference to a motor vehicle collision with a fatality. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling south on Esham Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, striking a tree and travel trailer on the property.

As a result, the vehicle burst into flames, and the driver was unfortunately unable to escape the vehicle and passed away at the scene. Police say the vehicle was unregistered and they have not been able to identify the victim at this time.

The vehicle is described as a 2003 Cadillac Seville SLS/STS, Pearl White in color.
