Two Willards men arrested on drug charges
SALISBURY, Md. – Two Willards men were arrested Thursday morning following a traffic stop in Salisbury.
According to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding on N. Salisbury Boulevard at Zion Road at around 10:45 a.m. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Robert Conaway, reportedly told the deputy that there was marijuana and related paraphernalia inside the vehicle, resulting in a search of the vehicle.
The deputy found heroin in Conaway’s pants pocket, along with heroin near where the passenger, 39-year-old David Moore, had been sitting. Two syringes and a burnt spoon were also located inside the car, as well as the marijuana that Conaway said was in the car.
Both Conaway and Moore were arrested and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were later released on personal recognizance.
