Today’s Forecast: March 1, 2019

Periods of rain, heavy at times, is expected tonight as another area of low pressure passes by. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s.

A lingering shower is possible very early in the morning on Saturday, then mostly cloudy and dry for the rest of the day. There may be some breaks in the clouds late with highs in the upper 40s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and cooler with rain arriving during the evening and continuing into the night. Parts of northern Delmarva may start as a wintry mix early as the precipitation begins. Highs will be in the mid 40s.

A few showers are possible early on Monday with gradually clearing skies during the day. Highs will be in the low 40s. A much colder air mass takes over for Tuesday with partly to mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid 30s. Wednesday looks to be the coldest day of the week with some record cold highs in danger of being broken. Temperatures will be in the low 30s. Thursday will be mostly sunny and cold with highs in the upper 30s.

Friday will cloud up once again with showers expected late in the day. Highs will be in the 40s.
