Theft investigation leads to arrest of Magnolia woman

MILFORD, Del. – A Magnolia woman was arrested and charged over the weekend following an investigation into a reported credit card theft.

Police say 41-year-old Terri Rust allegedly made multiple transactions on the victim’s credit cards without permission, beginning in June of 2018. A warrant was obtained for her arrest following further investigation, and she was taken into custody on Sunday.

Rust is charged with crime against a vulnerable adult, unlawful use of payment card over $1,500, and theft over $1,500 where a victim is 62 years or older or impaired/disabled. She was later released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing later this month.
