Shots fired incident under investigation in Bridgeville

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a report of shots fired in Bridgeville Sunday night.

Troopers were called to the 11000 block of 5th Street just before 10:30 p.m. On arrival, police learned that the residents were in their bedroom when they heard two gunshots, and later located two bullet holes in a rear door to the home.

The 42-year-old male resident and his 43-year-old wife were not injured. There is currently no suspect information.
