Salisbury Rhino’s set to bring football camp to the area

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Rhino’s are holding what they are calling the biggest football event our area has ever seen in roughly a month.

The football camp for kids between the ages of 6 and 14 will feature a highly talented staff. Along with the coaching staffs of the Parkside High School team and the Salisbury Rhino’s, two former college players will be there as well.

We’re told the camp will help young players of all positions hone their craft.

“It’s going to be teaching. Covering DB fundamentals, quarterbacks are going to get to work on footwork, running backs are going to get to work on speed and agility, linemen are going to get proper technique and stance. So a little bit of everything,” said TJ Bryant, the coach for the 12 and under team.

Bryant said part of the reason camp organizers wanted to bring this to Salisbury is because they felt there wasn’t something like this for young football players.

The camp itself will be April 13th from 9 to 11am at Waterside Park.

The cost is 20 dollars per player.
