UPDATE: Rehoboth Beach man arrested for robbery, assault

UPDATE: Delaware State Police have arrested 29-year-old Christopher Boone in connection to a robbery that happened on March 1st.

Boone was arrested on Monday after troopers observed in traveling in a vehicle in the Milford area. He was charged with robbery 1st degree, assault 1st degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy 2nd degree.

He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $72,000 secured bond.


REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – A Rehoboth Beach man is accused of robbing and assaulting a 23-year-old man on Friday.

Delaware State Police say the incident happened at Pebble Road, Rehoboth Beach shortly before 5 PM.

The suspect 29-year-old Christopher Boone reportedly stole a cell phone and money from a 23-year-old man. Police say the suspect struck the victim with a handgun during the robbery.

The victim was then taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Further investigation revealed Boone to be a suspect in the investigation.

Warrants are on file charging Boone with the following:

Robbery 1st Degree
Assault 1st Degree
Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
Conspiracy 2nd Degree
