Milford Police arrest three on drug charges following foot patrol

MILFORD, Del. – Three Delaware men were arrested and charged after they were found in possession of drugs during a foot patrol Friday night.

Just before 10:30 p.m., officers from the Milford Police Department were conducting a proactive foot patrol in the Brightway Commons when they observed suspicious activity that they believed to be drug related. Officers made contact with the three men, and after further investigation seized more than $2,000, along with nine bundles of heroin and 188 grams of marijuana.

24-year-old Christopher Thomas, 26-year-old Kwantae Hovington, and 24-year-old Leon Davis were all arrested as a result of this investigation.

Davis was charged with possession of marijuana and was issued a summons and released.

Hovington and Thomas were charged with two counts of second offense possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $10,600 secured bond.
