Melton, Gulls dominate Geneseo to remain unbeaten

SALISBURY, MD- On a day where the first squad to win a national championship in program history was honored, the #1 Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team looked the part, dominating SUNY Geneseso 18-3 on Saturday afternoon at Sea Gull Stadium.

Junior attack Josh Melton finished 5 goals and 6 assists for a career-high 11 points in the victory. Tyler Snyder and Corey Gwin finished with hat tricks, while Cross Ferrara and Pierre Armstrong each netted two goals. For Geneseo, Cameron Chiodo finished with two goals and an assist.

Salisbury will hit the road for its next three games, visiting Cabrini, Mary Washington, and Frostburg State before returning home to host Christopher Newport on April 10th.
