MAC Inc. hosting town halls for seniors

SALISBURY, Md. –  Mac Inc. wants to hear from you. The agency has been holding community meetings all across the four counties they cover. They want to hear about what the needs are of senior citizens living on the Lower Shore.

So far, they’ve been told that there’s a need for more social interaction, physical activity, and help with understanding prescription drug coverage.

Their next meeting will take place at MAC Inc. in Salisbury on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. so if you want to have your voice heard, you’re strongly encouraged to attend.

Pattie Tingle, the Executive Director at MAC Inc. said, “This indeed is a time when you can have your voice heard and you can influence how services are provided in your community.”

The purpose of these town halls is to help them craft their five year plan that will be submitted to the Maryland Department on Aging.
