Irish Pub describes preparations for St. Paddy’s Day

SALISBURY, Md. – All across Delmarva, people broke out the green to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day on Sunday.

Many celebrated at pubs across the Eastern Shore like The Irish Penny in Salisbury. Owner Jeff Trivits told 47ABC they plan for St. Paddy’s Day weeks in advance to make sure they have enough food, beer, and staff members on hand.

Trivits also told us this is one of the biggest nights of the year for them as it brings in big business.

Trivits said, “Everybody’s in a good mood, festive, happy. We get to see our regulars that help us all throughout the year and then we get to see the people that don’t come in that often, and then a bunch of new people, as well. So it’s just fun all around.”
