Horse spotted trotting down US 113 in Georgetown
GEORGETOWN, Del. – If you were driving down US 113 Tuesday morning, you may have spotted some serious horse power on the road.
Georgetown police were called Tuesday morning after a horse named Bailey was spotted trotting down the highway.
Luckily, a few people were able to get a hold of the horse at a business called Harvest Diner.
We’re told the whole ordeal proved to be quite a spectacle for both drivers and diners.
Taylor James, a worker at Harvest Diner said, “Everybody was laughing all of our customers this morning were standing up at the windows…That’s definitely one of our special guests that I guess was hungry [Tuesday] morning.”
We’re told the horse got about three miles from home before it was caught. The owner came to the diner to pick it up.
