Ellendale man arrested following domestic incident

MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police arrested an Ellendale man on Sunday after he allegedly violated a no contact order.

Police say they responded to an apartment in the Mispillion Apartment complex for a report of a domestic related incident. It was reported that 29-year-old Cristofer Jackson entered the apartment without permission through a sliding glass door.

The victim told police that Jackson was repeatedly asked to leave, but refused to do so. Jackson then reportedly attempted to trap the victim in a room inside the apartment by holding a door to prevent her from leaving.

Police initially were unable to find Jackson, but eventually found him hiding under a blanket. It was also learned that the victim and Jackson had an active no contact order between them.

Jackson was charged with unlawful imprisonment second degree, breach of release, and third degree criminal trespass. He is currently being held on $2,001 unsecured bail awaiting arraignment.
