Drug search warrant results in four arrests in Dover
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say four people were arrested on numerous drug charges Monday afternoon following the execution of a search warrant.
Dover Police were assisted by the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit and Delaware Probation and Parole in the search. Officers executed the warrant at a home in the unit block of Village Drive, in the Hamlet neighborhood, just before 2:30 p.m.
Officials say that when they arrived, 25-year-old Zykee Bull tried to flee from the rear of the residence, throwing a handgun, 30 bags of fentanyl, 60 bags of heroin, and approximately 17.1 grams of marijuana before he was caught. Police also found an additional 3.5 grams of marijuana inside his vehicle at the home.
When officers entered the residence, they first found 27-year-old Jordan Powell in possession of a digital scale and approximately 27 grams of marijuana. Powell was also reportedly wanted on an unrelated warrant for theft, forgery, and conspiracy.
23-year-old Marquese Harris was also found inside the home and was in possession of 77.5 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, along with 1.1 grams of methamphetamine.
24-year-old Marvin Farlow was found with 4.5 grams of marijuana in his possession, which police say he tried to dispose of before being apprehended.
Bull was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of marijuana. He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $83,100 cash bond.
Powell was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, drug paraphernalia, theft under $1,500 (victim 62+), second degree forgery, and second degree conspiracy. He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution.
Harris was charged with maintaining a drug property, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $8,400 secured bond.
Farlow was charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, and was later released on a $1,200 unsecured bond.
