Delaware teen launches ‘inspiring scholarship’ program for students

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – In Delaware, a young man who’s already inspired millions of people with his positivity, is taking his inspiration to the next level. Chase Marvil, the owner and creator of the inspiring project  has been trying to change the scope of social media through positivity. And now, he’s launching the inspiring scholarship program for high school seniors and college students. Marvil tells us he wanted to help those who may be struggling to pay for resources for college, which can often get expensive. Now until Sunday March 17th, seniors and college students across Delmarva can apply for two different scholarships.
Which Marvil hopes will make their college experience a little less stressful.

“They’re both $150 each being that this is the first year we’re starting out low so that we can grow in years to come. College is an expensive endeavor and some people kind of get turned away from that because you don’t always have the funds, so we wanted to help out a little bit the best we can and just be able to help them get their degree,” said Marvil.

Marvil adds that he hopes to make this an annual scholarship opportunity for students, and if you’re interested in applying for one of his scholarships, click here for an application.
