Camden man arrested for burglarizing the same residence three times in one day

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested a 20-year-old Camden man after he reportedly burglarized the same residence three times in one day.

According to police, they received a call at around 10:15 a.m. on March 15th after a witness heard glass breaking and saw a suspect enter and exit an unoccupied home in the 500 block of S. Old Mill Road.

Troopers were dispatched to the area when the same suspect was seen entering and exiting the home at around 12:45 p.m. It was then discovered that the suspect had broken a sliding glass door to get into the home. Troopers received a third call just before 2 p.m. and on arrival located the suspect still inside the residence.

The suspect, identified as Jordan Manus, initially fled on foot but was caught a short time later. He was charged with three counts of burglary second degree, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief.

Manus is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $8,600 secured bond.
