Bayside North and South split annual basketball all-star game

EASTON, Md.- In what was a closely contested second half, the Bayside South girls were able to pull away from the North in the 34th annual Cliff Mister senior All-Star game, 81 -68.

Tied at 58-58 in the fourth quarter, the South would piece together an 8-0 run, led by Mardela’s Armani Banks to take the lead they would never let up.

Aliyah Holden (Washington) put up a game-high 18 points for the South, followed closely by Banks with 16.

For the North, a pair of Kent Island teammates found their names at the top of the scorebook; Jordan Grard with 15 and Ashley Rotert with 14.

EASTON, Md.- In a competition of, “Who can shoot the most three-pointers,” North Caroline’s Cory Hall stole the show, posting a 21 point, 21 rebound double-double.

The North won the 34th annual Cliff Mister senior All-Star game in which 34 three-pointers were made between the two squads.

The South would have the early lead, but a second quarter run from the North would prove to be the difference maker, taking the lead at halftime and never looking back.

WiHi’s Dorian Stevens led the South in the scoring department with 17 points, and for the North, Cambridge’s Jyquan Farrare sank five threes for 15 points.
