Urrutia’s career night leads Hawks to last second win over SC State

Princess Anne, MD. –The Maryland Eastern Shore men’s basketball team defeated South Carolina State 63-61 on Saturday afternoon at the William P. Hytche Athletic Center.

Hawks’ point guard Bryan Urrutia finished with a game-high 22 points, with 9 assists and no turnovers, including the game-winning basket with seven seconds to go.

For South Carolina State, Damni Applewhite and David Bottenberg finished tied with a team-high 11 points.
