SU student facing felony charges for wire tapping
SALISBURY, Md. – Officials from the State Prosecutor’s Office say a Salisbury University student is facing two felony counts of wire tapping.
We’re told that back in October, 20-year-old Jake Burdett participated in a rally for medical marijuana outside of Congressman Andy Harris’ office in Salisbury, and had the opportunity to meet with a staffer and several others after the rally.
Everyone in the room was told not to record, however, Burdett allegedly live streamed the entire meeting via Facebook.
Burdett is facing charges of illegal recording and the illegal distribution of the recording.
