Seaford police chief heading to Middletown
SEAFORD, Del. – In Delaware, Seaford Police Chief Robert Kracyla will be taking his talents further north in the first state. Beginning on March 4th Chief Kracyla will begin his new position as the Middletown police chief. Kracyla, who’s been with the Seaford police department for less than a year says he decided to move to be closer to his family. He say’s both his sons attend schools in the area-, and he’d like to spend more time with them. And as much as he enjoyed his time here in Sussex County, he’s ready to take the next step.
“This was an opportunity for me to have both things, to go and do things that I love like being a police chief in a progressive police department and then also being able to basically walk out the door and hang out with my sons so it was a win-win for me,” siad Kracyla.
Kracyla’s last day as chief for the Seaford Police Department will be on Friday March 1st.
