Salisbury WLAX opens 2019 with win over Stevenson

SALISBURY, Md. – The number 4 ranked Salisbury women’s lacrosse team picked up a 14-6 victory over the Stevenson Mustangs behind a hat trick from sophomore Emma Skoglund.

SU found their first goal six minutes into the game and tallied two more goals in the next two minutes. Skoglund tacked on her three goals in the first half to get Salisbury up to a 9-2 halftime lead.

Eight different Gulls tallied a goal, while five different players had at least two goals. Salisbury starts a three game road trip beginning on February 24 and will be back at home on March 9 against Washington College
