Salisbury man sentenced to life for rape and sex abuse of a minor
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man is facing life plus 25 years for his conviction on numerous rape and sex abuse charges.
On November 5th, 36-year-old Johnathan Price was convicted on one count of sexual abuse of a minor, four counts of second degree rape, two counts of third degree sex offense, and four counts of 4th degree sex offense. He was sentenced on these charges on February 13th.
On February 14th, he was sentenced to an additional 15 years (consecutive to the life plus 25 years) for one count of sexual abuse of a minor and one count of third degree sex offense, which he pled guilty to on January 15th.
These charges and convictions stem from several incidents that happened during the fall of 2017, when Price reportedly sexually abused several children ranging from 5 to 13 years of age in the Newton Street area in Salisbury.
