Police increase patrols for Super Bowl Sunday

SALISBURY, Md. – Police want to remind Superbowl fans to stay sober if they plan on driving Sunday night.
According to Maryland State Police Lieutenant Chris Davala, they will be beefing up security on Sunday by sending out more officers to patrol the roads.
The Lieutenant said if people are planning to drink it is important to designate a sober driver.
“It’s preparation,” said Davala.
“Go to a party, have a good game plan and give the keys to somebody, hand them off because if you fumble during this day then you run into one my linebackers and unfortunately it’s game over after that point,” said Davala.
Davala also said other things people can do Sunday night is to call a ride-sharing service or use public transportation.
