Officials at PRMC want you to keep that heart pumping with their exercise & lifestyle programs

SALISBURY, Md.– February is officially recognized as Heart Month and not only are health officials emphasizing the importance of a heart-healthy diet, but how we use this vital organ.

Pam Caldwell, the Director of the Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab Program at PRMC, joined us for Good Morning Delmarva explain how you can improve your heart health.

The Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab program allows patients to enroll in exercise programs, learn lifestyle management and track their health with various tests including heart rate, oxygen level, blood pressure, EKG etc.

PRMC also offers Heart Smart Screenings for those who are not currently under the care of a cardiologist. This is free screening which includes various tests so you can see where you stand in terms of your overall heart health.
