Ocean City-Berlin Optimist Club hosts 36th-annual Seaside Boat Show

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Saturday boat lovers from all walks of life gathered in Ocean City for the 36th-annual Seaside Boat Show.

From dingys, to pontoons, to even a few jet skis, hundreds of boaters and boat aficionados toured the Ocean City Convention Center Saturday enjoying the number one indoor boat show on the Eastern Shore.

To be more specific, the show features 350 boats, electronics, dock builders, boat lifts, crafts,  food vendors and more.

Sponsored by the Ocean City-Berlin Optimist Club we’re told the event brings in big business to the resort town during the off-season.

President Charles Smith of Ocean City-Berlin Optimist Club said, “Everybody that lives on the Delmarva Peninsula lives within 45 minutes of a major body of water, therefore water and boats and fishing poles and all of that have a major economic impact with our folks on the Shore.”

The Optimist Club says if you haven’t made it out to the show yet, there’s still time.

Sunday is the last day of the show and it runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
