Milton man arrested on numerous drug, gun charges
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested a Milton man on Tuesday following an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs.
The investigation began when the Governor’s Task Force received a tip that 39-year-old Michael Henry was allegedly selling illegal drugs out of a residents in the 36000 block of Palace Lane, in the Camelot Meadows Mobile Home park.
On Tuesday, probation officers from the Georgetown Probation Office executed an administrative search on Henry’s vehicle and the residence. On arrival, officers found Henry hiding underneath a bed in a bedroom. Officers immediately detained Henry and began a search on the home and vehicle, leading to the seizure of the following items:
- 9mm Smith & Wesson M&P 9 (reported stolen out of Troop 7)
- 288.95 grams of cocaine
- 404.38 grams of marijuana
- 5 THC candy edibles
- 10 Cannabis oil vape refills
- 3 300 mg marijuana candy bars
- 6 chocolate THC spoons
- Over $10,000 in suspected drug proceeds
Henry was subsequently arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (Tier 4 qty), possession of a controlled substance (Tier 5 qty), possession of a firearm/destructive weapon within 10 years of prior felony conviction, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited prior violent crime/felony, possession with intent to deliver controlled substance, receiving stolen firearm, possession of a controlled substance (Tier 1 qty), resisting arrest, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Henry is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $167,600 cash only bond.
