Lady Royals outlast Worcester Prep; capture ESIAC crown
Delmarva Christian tops Worcester Prep
BERLIN, Md. – The Delmarva Christian girls basketball team lost five games in the 2018-2019 regular season. Two of those losses came at the hands of Worcester Prep; each by seven points.
Thursday night in Berlin, the Royals were out for some revenge with the ESIAC championship on the line.
Led by sophomore Gracie Fettermen (13pts), Delmarva Christian would carry a 20-15 lead into the second half.
Heading into the fourth quarter, that lead would extend to 30-19 and that’s all the Royals would need.
The Delmarva Christian Royals are your 2018-2019 ESIAC champions; topping Worcester Prep 37-28.
