Hawks split matchups with Savannah State

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Maryland Eastern Shore split a double-header with Savannah State on Monday night with the women securing a 78-46 victory, while the men fell 68-63.

The women move to 9-1 in the MEAC and 13-10 overall this season after the victory. Keyera Eaton finished with a game-high 15 points for the Hawks.

The men fell to 4-21 on the season and drop to 2-8 in the MEAC. Three Hawks finished with double-digit point including a team-high 12 points for Bryan Urrutia.

Maryland Eastern Shore will hit the road for another MEAC matchup with North Carolina Central University on Saturday.
