Former Humane Society Director accused of stealing at least 58K.

WICOMICO CO., Md. – On Tuesday, 47ABC obtained the charging documents for Aaron Balsamo, the former Director of the Humane Society of Wicomico County.

The charging documents reveal that Aaron Balsamo may have stolen up to about $58,000 from the Humane Society.

The charging documents also suggest that Balsamo used the Humane Society’s credit card to buy unauthorized items 668 times.

Board members of the Humane Society were notified in August about the suspicious transactions on the credit card and the charging documents state that Balsamo was the only one with access to the card.

We reached out to the Humane Society for comment but they were unavailable to speak on camera.
