Easton quiets late Colonel comeback
AMERICAN CORNER, Md. – The Easton Warriors got a team-high 24 points from Lamont Powell to sink Colonel Richardson 73-65.
The Warriors took a three-point lead headed into the half as Lorenzo Turner and Powell battled back and forth. Easton opened up the half on a 13-0 run to keep Colonel at arm’s length. Diante Dickerson had nine points in the third quarter to spark a Colonel run and get them to within four points.
But the Warriors were too strong down the stretch and were able to move the lead by as much as double-digits in the late stages of the fourth.
