Dover Police arrest two on drug charges

DOVER, Del. – Two people are facing drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a Dover hotel Thursday afternoon.

Before conducting the search, officers stopped 21-year-old Kevin Wilkerson and 22-year-old Teaira Steward after they left the hotel, and took them into custody. Officers then executed the search warrant, discovering .55 grams (78 bags) of heroin, a digital scale, 5.8 grams of marijuana, and $2,000 in drug money.

Wilkerson was charged with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy 2nd degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and violation of probation. He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $12,600 cash bond.

Steward was charged with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy 2nd degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana. She was released on a $12,600 unsecured bond.
